Established in 1994 by Grandmaster Frank Yee

In 1994, Grandmaster Frank Yee began teaching Wong Fei Hung’s Traditional Hung Ga Kung Fu to elderly students in Taishan. Although they were advanced in age, they trained diligently and sought deeper knowledge. This inspired him to establish a local lineage in Taishan, offering his teachings freely as a tribute to his father’s city.

In 2006, thanks to donations from association members, a new school was established at 80 Huancheng Road (80 Wan Sing Nam), the main street in Taishan City, Guandong, China.

Through this school, Grandmaster Frank Yee has reignited local interest for Wong Fei Hung's traditional Hung Ga Kung Fu. With the founding of Taishan City Hung Ga Kung Fu Association - Yee’s Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association in China, he has welcomed students from around the world to study in a traditional setting.
